Album of F. Eugene Whitfield, student in the law school of Cumberland University at Lebanon, Tenn., containing about thirty-four pictures and autographs of fellow students, mostly of the class of 1859. Sometimes the entries contain birthdates and hometowns and sometimes friendly letters of farewell to "Whit." The students are chiefly from Tennessee and Mississippi, but also from Louisiana, Arkansas, North Carolina, Iowa, Kentucky, Georgia, and possibly elsewhere. Pictures and autographs of two or three older men, probably professors, are included in the front of the book.
